Behind the Scenes: Virtual Health Fairs

One thing that truly sets Virtual Health Fairs apart are the Live MainStage Sessions. These live sessions wouldn’t be possible without a talented team of wellness and tech professionals working on screen and behind the scenes to ensure things run smoothly. Recently, we asked some of the Virtual Health Fair team about their experiences. Here is a peek behind the scenes of the Virtual Health Fair!

What is your background in wellness?
I'm an ICF Certified Coach, Yoga Teacher, Integrative Arts Practitioner.

What is your favorite part about Virtual Health Fairs?
Being in connection with a live audience! It’s energizing to observe how the questions and insights that participants bring forward further animates the content. The live-streams are also wonderful for putting the work that we are sharing as practitioners into practice: cultivating a shared sense of humanity, compassion, and maybe even some levity- within our respective journeys.

Can you share a fun fact you learned while presenting for Virtual Health Fairs?
As a teacher/practitioner of integrative arts and Jungian enthusiast, I loved discovering so many data points in the white paper research related to the health benefits of art practice, specifically within Mandala art forms! Awareness of the benefits can incentivize practice and create safety around dedicating time to play and creatively explore.

That being in front of a camera isn’t that scary! If you had asked me a decade ago, I would have said NO WAY! But having a supportive and enthusiastic team also makes a huge difference.

My favorite part is when we get a tough question from a someone watching the VHF and then hear the heartfelt and informative answers from our practioners. The viewer will usually let them know how much they helped them with their issues. That's when I know we really helped someone and it makes the gig extremely rewarding!

Can you share a fun fact you learned while working on Virtual Health Fairs?
I enjoy learning about the diets of the "blue zones" where people live to be 100!
