Ask the Team: What Makes You Feel Strong?

Strength isn’t just about how much you can bench press. It shows up our daily lives—from carrying groceries and moving furniture to keeping up with a busy day or simply feeling capable and confident in your body.

In this month’s newsletter, we explored the important role muscle and strength play in our overall health. We wanted to look beyond the gym and ask the team: What makes you feel strong? Here’s what they had to say!

    Caitlin
“I feel strong when I hike and reach my destination even though I want to stop and go back down halfway.”

    Diana
"I’m helping my brother move, so I feel strong when I can pick up heavy boxes that I didn’t think I could carry myself.”

    Elliott
“I feel strong when my partner comes home on their bike and we have to lift their bike onto the porch. They’ll lift it up to me from the ground and I will lift it over the railing and onto the porch.”

    Kassie
“Running with my toddler in a jogger- especially when we’re running into the wind.”

    Liane
“I feel strong when I’m the person my husband asks to help him move furniture.”

    Michele
“I feel strong when I am multitasking to the max and it actually works out!”

    MK
"I feel strong when I carry my 50 lb. dog around like a baby."

    Nicole P.
“I feel strong when I’m playing with my boys and I do things that they don’t think I can do, like joining them in doing handstands.”

    Reed
“I feel strong when I’m helping my grandma move her big potted plants around.”

    Scout
“I feel strong any time I’m working a back of house or catering event lifting bags of carrots, and heavy trays into the oven."
