"This winter, I have started doing yoga in my living room with my husband. We got into hiking this past year and were really starting to miss that time together as the weather made outside time feel less appealing. Yoga is new to us, and it has been fun to learn together!"

"My family is embracing the season by enjoying all the great things that winter has to offer– sledding, making snowmen, throwing snowballs, and ice skating."
-Diana
"This winter I have been getting back into attending ballet classes! There’s nothing like being in a warm dance studio with dreary weather outside, listening to some beautiful music and making some art together."
-Elliott
"I am embracing “change” as I enter a new season of life and encouraging myself to begin nesting. I am embracing this last season of my household being just me, my husband and dog by taking time for self-care and my hobbies!"
-Kayla
"This winter, I'm spending some time outdoors each day"
- Kristen
"One way I try to embrace the winter is to move my body every morning whether its yoga or pilates. Also staying cozy for me is key, I love ending my days with a hot beverage."
-Michele
"This winter I got a sauna membership! I hate feeling like I can never get warm enough in the winter but in the sauna I can pretend I’m roasting away on a hot, humid beach. As a bonus, it gets me out of the house after sunset and it’s nice to see familiar, sweaty faces week after week."
-MK
"I have really leaned into pulling the kids around on the sled in our yard. They have a blast and I make that my workout for the day- I take them over some hills, run and get the heart rate pumping!"
-Nicole P.
"Throughout the winter months, I get my dose of exercise and fresh air while tossing piles of firewood into my basement for my family's wood stove heater. But my favorite part of winter is getting to cozy up and play video games, while getting to watch the snow fall outside my window!"
-Reed
"My partner and I set a goal to see a movie every week this winter, and hopefully the whole year, which is a great thing to look forward to during this more indoor time! It can be out at a theatre or at home but It gives us something to look forward to and think critically about together!"
